Such moves can take a few hours or a few days, depending on the size and destination of the move. Short distance moves are charged either at an hourly rate or a cubic foot rate, depending on which approach is more satisfactory for our customer.
Determining The Cost Of Your Local Move
The cost of short distance residential moves is based on the various services required. However, such moves are mostly determined by the amount of hours worked or the final number of cubic feet, the amount of boxes and box-packing services utilized, additional valuation coverage as well as some driving expenses.
Some cost factors are under your control. For example, if you chose to pack your personal items yourself, it will decrease the amount of time our movers will spend packing your belongings AND will also decrease the number of boxes our movers will use, thereby lowering your cost.
